Dennis was born and raised in Chillicothe, graduated from Chillicothe High School. He attended Trenton Junior College. Dennis is married to Marce Hicks and together they have three grown daughters and four grandchildren. Dennis has been involved with business in Chillicothe for most of his adult life. His businesses include real estate, restaurants, farms, and now an assisted living facility. Recently Dennis was asked why in the world he would buy a nursing home at his age. His answer was simple, “I bought the nursing home because our city, county, community, and older folks are going to need this very nice facility, and I have a soft spot for our aging community.” Dennis says his goal is to make this the #1 adult living facility in our state.
Shelly Allred

Shelly Allred
Administrator
Shelly is the administrator at Legacy Living and is also a registered nurse with 30 years’ experience in geriatric nursing and care. Her dedication is caring for the elderly to make their lives happy and comfortable. Shelly has four kids and eight grandkids and loves to spoil them. When she is not at work she enjoys artifact hunting, taking care of her flowers, reading, and sewing.

Office/Finance Manager
Sheena is an experienced Office/Finance Manager with nine years in office management. She loves her work and connecting with residents, valuing the wisdom they share. Outside of work, Sheena enjoys spending time with her three kids (Bri, James, and Jace), her family, her dog Bella, and her daughters’ dog Bexley. She loves creating memories, and some of her favorite things to do include boating, top golf, game nights with her kids and their friends, cooking, watching movies, and traveling.

Certified Activity Director
Erica has 19 years of experience as an activity director and has been in health care since 1995. She enjoys working with people, especially the elderly of our community, while providing quality of life individually to each of our residents. Erica has been married to husband, Bryan, since 2008. She has lots of nieces and nephews. Outside of work Erica likes to spend time with family and friends, enjoys kayaking and doing things outdoors.

Megan White
Dietary Manager
Megan, our dietary manager, has 13 years of experience working in the dietary field. She is an outstanding cook, leads a great team, and residents thoroughly enjoy the home-like meals they receive at Legacy Living. Megan has two kids (Parker, 19 and Mia, 17), a baby boy on the way, and her dog, Otis. When Megan is home, she enjoys snacking, watching Netflix, and sleeping.
Dicky Mckerlie
Director of Maintenance

Director of Maintenance
Dicky has been maintenance director for 17 years. Dicky finds joy in helping the residents and staff with their (to-do lists). Outside of Legacy Living you can find him enjoying life on the farm, raising animals of all kinds. Dicky loves to go trout fishing and camping.
